... it's almost Hatch Day!!
According to our hatch calendar, the chicks
should arrive in the next 3 days!!
Today was an important day for the eggs in the incubator.
It was lockdown day.
First, we needed to take-out the egg turner tray.
Then, ever so carefully we placed each egg onto the
screen inside of the incubator.
We added more water to increase the humidity
and then it was time for a peek.
Now we need to leave the cover on until ALL the chicks hatch in order to keep the warmth and humidity inside of the incubator.
In the next few days the chicks will find their hatching position so it is really important that the eggs must be kept still.
Monday could be a very exciting day in pre-k!
