Are Monsters Real??

Survey says...
What would an imagination unit be without
including a few great monster stories?!
These are some of our favorites so far.
Our literacy centers are also packed with monster fun...
Monster ABC's Write-the Room.
Sort the lowercase monster letters at the pocket chart.
Build letters with loose parts on monster mats.
Choose a monster ABC card and write
the letter on the monster mat.
(picture coming soon)
A class favorite at the finger gym... squeeze the
monster to open his mouth and feed him some ABC's.
This is a pretty tough workout for little hands.
We also grew a new batch of purple water beads and added some big googly monster eyes with ABC's on the back.
Listen carefully and you can just hear the giggles of joy!!
We fed our hungry monster some snap words.
He thought they were delicious:)
The monsters are even getting in on the camping action.
These little campers served them some yummy s'mores:)
Nice 1:1 correspondence campers!
Reaching in the monster mouth and pulling out an alphabet letter and making the sound that goes with that letter is always a thrill.
Who knew learning through play could be so fun, yet productive?!?
