Christmas Party Day Fun!

One more post for the 2017 year...
Our morning began by lighting our last Advent candle
and finishing our Advent storybook.

Then, we finally placed Baby Jesus in our Nativity set.
The children were so excited that we decided to sing
'Happy Birthday' to Jesus.
Then, we had a knock at the door and Mr. Berg delivered a special package to us. It was from the North Pole and it was marked as 'perishable.' That was a new word for us. Ask your child what that means. We were over the moon excited. When we opened the package it was filled with special reindeer food.
So fun!

Finally, it was time for party centers. For this party, the children were able to choose their own activities due to our limited time, so each child only rotated through the centers of interest to him/her.
Of course, they were ALL festive and fun!!
Graphing colored Christmas trees .

I Spy Christmas.
 Jesus Bingo
Building with craft sticks.

We dressed like elves and reindeer and made a special delivery upstairs to visit our big buddies and wish them a Merry Christmas.
We thanked them for being our very special 'guardian angels.'

On the way back to our classroom we decided to do a bit of caroling in and out of many classrooms in the school.
The big kids especially loved it!

For some reason everyone thought we were so cute!
Go figure!!
We shared beautiful party snacks with each other.
Thank you so much to the parents who helped to make our
party so festive and yummy!!
You out did yourselves at this busy time of year!!

Cheers!

We ended our morning watching
Frosty the Snowman before packing up for early dismissal!
Early good-bye to December!
Our kindness tree is shining bright and we will continue with our kindness campaign into the new year!
The bulbs go all around the whole tree:)
Have a blessed a truly Merry Christmas!
See you in 2018!!
