Smash Art

The kids created stunning ornaments  

and learned a new word... SYMMETRY.

First, we dropped paint blobs onto only ONE side of 

the ornament shape.

Next, we folded the other half over the paint...'SMASH!' 
We squished and rubbed until we saw shadows 
spreading across the shape.

Open sesame...
