Last Friday our big buddies helped us design and make these pretty and festive stockings in anticipation of the Feast of St. Nicholas.
Yesterday, the stockings were hung in the kitchen and...
...under the chalk ledge with care in the hopes that St. Nicholas soon would be there.
It worked!!
St. Nicholas came for a visit at St. Robert School and left us a few little treats.
Ask your child what the candy cane symbolizes and how the idea of the candy cane came to be.
