Postcard Project

Our postcard project was a huge success! Thank you to ALL who reached out to family, friends, and co-workers. Each card was unique and had a special, personalized message.  

I didn't anticipate getting postcards from overseas. Next year I will need to get a world map instead of just a United States map.

LAST Day Picnic

We enjoyed a wonderful time picnicking together at Atwater Beach Park this afternoon. The weather was picture perfect!

Inventor's Showcase

The children have spent the past few days sharing wonderful, creative inventions with each other. Remember, you saw it here first. I think we should apply for patents. These are GREAT ideas with a lot of promise! The children have really learned to think like engineers:)

'Sarah'

A machine that prevents boats from sinking.

A great safety invention.

A jewelry and headband organizer.

I need one of these!

'Flower Machine'

 A machine that speeds up spring and helps flowers 
and grass to grow more quickly.
Milwaukee needs to invest in one of these.

An accessory that ensures you won't lose your sunglasses.

This one has true potential!

A tote that helps carry food and water and helps you not lose it.

We should all have one of these for snack time.

Another sunglasses accessory!!

I'll take one!

'Lego Organizer'

We need one of these in 4K:)

'Flying Car'

This is what I need to fly over town to get to school quicker.

'Fishing Hole Jar'

This invention can hold up fish if they drop and 

it also has a light for night-time fishing!!

We can all eat more fish for supper!

'Robot Builder'

This robot will build homes for people!!

Maybe we can build homes for the poor people.

'The Mouse Trap'

This invention is a necessary evil especially in the late fall!

'Sour Patch Tree'

This invention is every little kids dream... when you are good you can go in the back yard and pick some candy!

Mmmmm... yummy!

 'Bottle Cap Organizer'

This would come in handy for all of us!

Yay for loose parts!

 'Wood Ax'

Wow... a home-made working tool!!

I have a few trees that need to be chopped down!

'Water Robot'

This little guy gives you water whenever you want!

He needs to live in my classroom to help me drink water!

These two inventors decided to collaborate and go into business together instead of competing against one another:)

Life's a Beach!!

There are times in life when you just have to seize the moment... today was one of those times. The weather was so amazing we decided to walk to the beach one last time with our kindergarten friends.

 We rescued a runaway dog on the way.

The colors were so beautiful!
