Our Pumpkin patch and harvest store have been VERY busy over the past couple of weeks.
Counting all that money sure takes team work!
We've been selling a lot of pumpkin donuts!
Orders are verified and packaged up by the employees.
With Halloween only days away, some of the props have changed and the employees are looking a bit more festive.
The children decided to set up a hay wagon ride; tickets were sold, directions were given, pumpkin information was dispensed to all the customers... pretty funny!!
This driver looks serious.
Those kids better sit down quick!!
This group must have left a few kids behind in the pumpkin patch!
Our mini sensory bin has turned into an ABC pumpkin patch.
Even our pumpkins know they are in the Literacy Lab! LOL!
Beware... here come the pumpkin detectives. They are on the hunt for lowercase letters... but need to find the uppercase partner on the recording sheet. Oooooo, getting so smart! This task takes a little bit longer.
Little fingers and hands are getting a workout pinching golf tees and pounding them into the pumpkin. We have some strong little people in this class!!
Team work!!
Looks like an alien pumpkin!
A new finger gym activity for this week... pinch the sparkly pumpkin and carefully set it on the golf tee! Takes concentration and balance.
Using pumpkin seeds as counters is fun too.
Using visual discrimination skills to find the Jack-o-Lanterns that look the SAME.
Drawing and cutting pumpkins
Sharing a pumpkin story with a friend is ALWAYS a favorite activity.
Are we tired of pumpkins yet... NO way!!
