Fall Fun in 4K!

We've been talking all about Fall!
Our sensory table is full of Fall plants, pine cones, and plastic insects (mostly...we found a few real crawlies amongst the plants!)

Engineering challenge: Build a Fall tree.  This tree even has acorns!

Engineers needed to work together to build this tree taller...

and taller!

I got a picture of this tree in the nick of time...

Timber!!!

Your mathematicians worked diligently all week creating Fall patterns.

In science we talked about chlorophyll, it's function in plants, and how chlorophyll makes many of the green veggies and fruits that we eat green.
Here are the scientists "coloring" with chlorophyll (spinach leaves).

Many scientists chose to embellish their trees with fall leaves, colors, and apples.

These are pages of a book about 1, 2 & 3 mountains.

Fantastic!

Our Mystery Box items have been fun to try and figure out.

Your kiddo will bring the Mystery Box home sometime this month to be filled with 1 nature item.  The class guesses what is inside after some clues and investigation!
This mystery was solved- beautiful fall leaves!

Our Number of the Week was 2.

We practiced 2 by drawing 2 things,

rolling 2's from play-doh,

and building 2's from wood pieces.

We finished our week with outdoor games with our big buddies!  Fun!!!
