Right Hand or Left Hand?

The children are learning about left and right. We over-teach the right hand to help with understanding of directionality. Good readers and writers ALWAYS start on the left and move to the right. This has nothing to do with hand dominance.

We are having fun learning a special handshaking Hello song. Shaking hands with a friend makes our hearts happy:)

 We are learning it is polite to SMILE when you greet someone:)

Give 'em your right hand. Look them in the eye. Put a smile on your face and then you say HI!
