The full-day children continued their color exploration inquiry by making squishy bags to discover what would happen when mixing the colors they wondered about on a previous day of playing.
We added blobs of paint inside large ziplock bags, then zipped them up and secured them to the tabletops. Now, let the fun begin... poke and press, and slide, and squish. A sensory explosion of fun with a WOW at the end!!
The purple/white was our favorite! It turned into a pretty shade of lavender.
This is a simple project you could do at home with your child. The squishy bags also make a great surface for drawing with little fingers... name practice, letters, shapes... FUN & LEARNING!
