Work Together Wednesday

The Week of the Young Child continues with
'Work Together Wednesday!'
In 4K, everyday tends to be 'work together' day.
We work together. Build together. Learn together.
Working together comes in all different varieties.
Here some of our morning friends helped one
another assemble a rather tricky puzzle.
Another group helped each other line up Noah's animals.
And still another group was observed just
doing a kind deed for a friend.
(We'll hold, you staple!)
The BEST kind of working together!!
These friends worked on finger strengthening with each other.
It's ALWAYS more fun to work with a friend!
This afternoon we focused on partner yoga
which offered up MANY giggles.
The children learned very quickly that the only way
that they could meet success accomplishing the pose
was to be in sync with their partner.
Check out these poses:
Open Heart...

Our little spotter really knows what she is doing!!
Lizard on a rock...

Double boat...
 What form!!

Seesaw...

When children work together they explore math and science concepts and develop social and early literacy skills.
Why not let your children work together with their siblings, friends, or YOU and build a pillow fort in the family room or make tents with table cloths and sheets?
Have fun!!
