This afternoon we embraced the 'TASTY' in Tasty Tuesday.
We made our very own pizza...
and we made it into a rectangle just to be different!
We stretched the dough.
Spread the sauce.
Arranged the pepperoni.
Sprinkled the cheese.
And of course, gobbled it up.
One student said,
"This is THE BEST pizza I ever ate in my whole life!"
Preparing and cooking meals with your children connects science and math with literacy skills and is so much fun!
It's a great way to introduce new vocabulary words as well.
