This morning we had a real treat and attended the
World Folk Fair hosted by the third grade students.
We each got our own passport to carry with us
as we traveled to each booth.
It was fun getting lots of stamps from the third graders.
The third grade students worked in groups of 2 or 3 and created salt maps, flags, and information poster boards of their countries.
The students wore authentic costumes and had many artifacts and even some cool money that looked different than ours.
(Many of these kiddos were past students of one of our teachers. She was so proud!)
We were even invited to go through the ethnic cuisine food line to taste some foods from the different countries.
So much fun especially 'cause it was Tasty Tuesday
(Week of the Young Child).
Look who we found... perhaps a relative from another country?!?
We can't wait until WE are in third grade:)
Thank you, third graders!!
Great job:)
