We did a fun little science experiment and also found a way to reuse something old and give it a new purpose.
We recycled broken crayons!
We cleaned out ALL our crayons and
had a grand sorting party.
First, we sorted the crayons into two piles... broken and whole.
Next, we pulled out all the blue and green crayons.
Finally, we filled cupcake tins and put the
crayons in our cookie oven.
It was so fun to watch them melt
and then harden after they sat out for awhile.
Our own little planet Earth's!
