Planting a Rainbow

We read a colorful story by Lois Ehlert called
'Planting a Rainbow.'
We thought it would be fun to make our own rainbow!
First, we drew lots of stems across our mural.

We upcycled paper towel and toilet paper tubes and with a little cutting (by our teacher) we turned them into flower shapes and used them as printing tools.
Next, we printed lots of flower blooms in the color order of the rainbow.  We are REALLY good at remembering the order of the colors because we are rainbow experts. Remember, THAT'S our teachers favorite color:)

They made great flowers!
Collaboration with friends is so much fun!!
