Original Prayers

The prekindergarten children have been learning about different types of prayer; thanksgiving, asking, forgiveness. We have also been practicing different ways of praying; reciting, singing, original, meditating,...

Today, our big buddies helped us compose our own prayers. We went up to the media center and sat with our buddies and they guided us through a conversation, took notes, and then typed-up our prayers.

The little buddies chose their own colors and fonts and then illustrated their own prayer. We will be assembling the prayers into a class book!!
