The Doctor is In!

Our Pre-K doctor's office opened for business this week and with all the illnesses going around, the lines are quite long.
The receptionists have been busy taking appointments and are ready to greet you with a smile.
You will be asked to sign-in which is great
for name writing practice.
Walk-ins are welcome too.
Once you have signed-in, the receptionist
will escort you to the waiting room.
It's so comfortable that patients have been observed falling asleep:)
A nurse will meet with you prior to your visit with the doctor
and will ask questions about what is ailing you.
You may get measured the non-standard way...
how many mittens tall are YOU?

Of course, the doctor will also want to check your weight and ask about your healthy eating habits.
This nurse practitioner is checking out the
numbers VERY carefully!!
Finally, the doctor will be ready to see you.
Hmmmm... looks like a fever!

It's so fun when other teachers and staff stop in for an appointment. The kids get so excited and take it very seriously:)
Ms. Lesjak was praying that her diagnosis would be better
than last year... her heart wasn't beating!
Sometimes you may need a shot, but don't worry,
we have a very gentle staff.

The vision clinic has also been busy.
Eye exams are going well.
The technicians get great practice with left to right
tracking skills and the patients work hard naming letters!

Who knew literacy learning could be so fun!?!
You may need glasses, but we can fit you here before you go.
 Perfect fit!
At times, the doctor will need to write-up a prescription for you.
We have a full-line of meds in our pharmacy, so pick-up
what you need before heading home.
Stop in if you aren't feeling well and we will
take GOOD care of you!
