Spirit Teams Advent Project

This morning we kicked off our Advent season by gathering in our spirit teams to work on a school-wide service project. This was the first time our half-day friends met their spirit teams.

Our task was to decorate lunch bags in a festive way, as well as write out a few upbeat messages to be tucked into the bags.

The 8th grade students prepared lunches for the the under privileged and then packed them into all our pretty bags with notecards.

Taa-daaaaa!

After our service project, we all headed to the gym for an Advent prayer service. We will meet in the gym each Monday morning during Advent to pray together as a school community.
