Reader's Theater

This afternoon, we were invited to visit one of the first grade classrooms to listen to 4 short plays.
The first grade students are working on their fluency when reading and the best way to improve is to practice reading aloud.
First, they introduced themselves to us and told us which
part they were playing in the story.
Each group also created their very own setting mural.

Our teacher recognized many of her past students and some of our classmates spotted their very own siblings too!

The 4K students practiced their listening skills and
were very polite audience members:)
Great job, first graders!
