Snow Science

Yesterday, we tried making instant snow. We added a teaspoon of snow powder and 2 ounces of water into a cup and POOF! SNOW!! The water absorbed so fast and it was even cold to the touch like real snow!

 Watching and waiting!
SNOW!
It was so easy, so we made more today to add to our sensory table.
Add a few trucks and it turns into a snowplowing extravaganza!

If you look closely in the above pictures you may also see some clear-looking balls. Those are the water beads we made yesterday. We threw them in with the snow to act as ice chunks. What fun we had!!

 Watching. Waiting.

Overnight they grew to the size of marbles.
So cool and fun to touch!
