Great Kindness Challenge - Day 3

Our classroom kindness challenge today was:
Many of our Kid Kindness superheroes earned hearts for our class kindness tree today!! Yay!

Today was our day to think about all the people who help make our school run smoothly from behind-the-scenes. Sometimes those are the folks we take for granted without even realizing it. The children worked very diligently making pictures for the office and maintenance staffs, and the kitchen crew. We also have pictures ready to take over to the parish center, however, the weather today put a little damper on our neighborhood kindness acts.
Our rock drop will also be postponed. The kiddos were so disappointed.

The children were so proud of their creations!

Our first Kid Kindness Love drop happened in the office. We showered Mrs. B, Mrs. T, Mr. B, and Ms. L. with our art originals.

They were so surprised and we saw them smiling A LOT!!
Ms. L. entertained us a bit with her cool light-up snowman. She always wears fun pins for us!
Before heading on our way, we shook our rainbow streamer wands which help us spread our 4K magic.

Later this afternoon, we headed downstairs to put our pictures on the maintenance office door. The crew is going to be so surprised tomorrow morning when they arrive at school.

We took a walk up to the second floor to check out how long the chains are growing. They go down the length of one side of the hallway. Tonight first-floor chains will be added. We also stopped to look at the 'Kindness Thermometer' to see how many links are on our chain so far. Just from Monday and Tuesday on the second floor, it came to over 1000.
Keep those kindness recording sheets coming in.
Our goal is to reach 5000 by Friday!!
