Great Kindness Challenge - Day 5

Today was the final day of our kindness campaign. I spent time today helping the children understand that although our special week was coming to a close, it is our calling to continue spreading kindness in any way that we can each and every day!
Our classroom challenge today was:
Our classroom tree has blossomed with LOVE as the children have been meeting our classroom kindness challenges this week.
We drew pictures for our big buddies to let them know how special we think they are and to thank them for taking us to preview the book fair.
We also delivered pictures to the entire parish staff.

Monday, we are participating in a school-wide service project by making lunches for the homeless. Each child should bring 1 sandwich (no condiments), plus 2 granola bars. The children will actually get to add the granola bars themselves to really have a hand in this. We also decorated the lunch bags that will be used. So sweet!

This amazing week ended on a high-note for me when I received a picture from one of my kids who was delivering her own birthday gifts to the sick kids at Children's Hospital wearing her 'Kid Kindness' cape. It doesn't get any sweeter than that! Wow!!
  Blessing to all!!
(BTW... we surpassed 6000 links on our chain of kind deeds!!)
WooHoooo!!
