Great Kindness Challenge - Day 2

My little Kid Kindness Superheroes were busy again today.
Besides participating in our daily classroom kindness challenge, we also took a walk around the neighborhood and secretly hid pennies for people to find.

We placed the pennies heads up and it is our hope that those who find our pennies will have a streak of good luck or at least believe that they might:)

We wanted to be sure that the people finding our pennies wouldn't think that we lost them, so we surrounded them with chalk-drawn hearts.

Then, we sprinkled them with a little 4K magic and chanted:
"Find a penny pick it up and all day long you'll have good luck!"

What a joyful time we had!

We also painted kindness rocks today. Tomorrow we will hide the rocks around our school and neighborhood to help lift people's spirits. After the children painted the rocks in happy colors and designs, I added words of affirmation and inspiration... Hope, Joy, Love, Believe, Hang in There,  Breathe, You Rock, You're the Best, etc... You get the idea.

Our classroom challenge today was:
Hanging up our capes for today.
Stay tuned for more kindness cheer tomorrow!
