Animal Adaptations

We continue to talk about amazing animal adaptations and using our nonfiction books to find information.

Each of our kid scientists found one interesting fact about an animal and presented that fact to the class.

They really studied the pictures and had a lot of fascinating facts to share!

In the afternoon we made pinecone birdfeeders...I hope you had the chance to hang them up and see a few birds visit!

There's a lot of lucky birds in Shorewood!

Building animal habitats and homes in the sensory table...

Hands-on math...

These cute little turkey paintings will come home to you soon...we used feathers to paint the background and added round turkey bodies, googly eyes and more feathers! Gobble, gobble!
