| was mushy and moldy and quite juicy! |

| Our pumpkin has been sitting in the science center for observation the past few weeks. The kiddos have been pretty quiet about it until Monday during center time I heard a little one shout excitedly, "Mrs. Byers, look at our pumpkin!!" And we all rushed over to investigate! |

| We're also talking about animal adaptations and what animals in Wisconsin do in the winter. We used flippers and goggles to try on a Beaver's strong paws for swimming and clear eyelids for seeing under water. |

| We made animal masks in art which naturally led to some fun dramatic play. |

| There was also a volleyball game with a ticket taker and refreshments. |
