As a fun enrichment activity, the full-day children read a favorite
alphabet story to set the tone for a building challenge.
We read... Chicka Chicka Boom Boom.
Next, it was time for the challenge.
This acronym stands for Science, Technology, Reading, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics.
These kids will take on any challenge with gusto.
They worked in pairs to approach the challenge.
First, each group needed to check their supplies.
There were giggles and crashes. Adjustments. Rebuilding.
Through collaboration each group met with SUCCESS!!
It really took team work.
Look at that concentration!
Each group started by slipping the tongue depressors into the tube. When they added the letters... BOOM BOOM!!
Hmmm... let's try to balance the sticks!!
Next, it's time to add the letters!
