Writer's Are Thinkers!

The children in prekindergarten are on their way to being little writers! We are learning that first, a writer needs to be a THINKER. Once a writer has an idea, next he/she can TALK about the idea.

Each Monday morning we sit in a circle and pass 'Share Bear' around while orally sharing one thing that we did on the weekend.

 The children are also learning to respectfully

 pass the bear to the next person. 

 These little people are turning into quite the 

listeners and speakers too.

 It is these ideas that we will begin to turn 
into our first bookmaking projects. 
Writing about what we know is always the most motivating.
