Where Do YOU Start Your Letters?

Please ask your child the answer to that question!
The children in 4K are growing up... fast! Today, we did our first 'official' big kid handwriting paper. We have been practicing the letters with vertical and horizontal lines (E, F, H, I, L, T) in sensory trays and building them with the Handwriting Without Tears tools for a while now, so today one of our workshops was printing on an official writing paper and progressing to the next level.

The children are also learning about using their "helping hand" to stabilize the paper and of course, practicing good posture ALWAYS!

The letter engineers built the letters with the wood pieces at another workshop.

The last workshop was writing these same letters on a mini slate.

Feel free to practice these letters with your child at home too:)
