Fun & Learning with Wood Pieces

The children are doing a fantastic job remembering the names of our wood pieces. We play a mystery bag game and by simply feeling them, they can identify which ones they are holding without looking. Way to go little people!!

 No Peeking!!

 I have been noticing that what the children are building with the wood pieces has been changing. The kiddos are moving from random creating and building to intentionally building letters they know and even building names they can spell. Such a bunch of little smarties!!

 Wow, even a big sisters name showed up:)
