Art-for Youth
This morning the children experienced their first 'Art-for-Youth' session. Mrs. Brejcha and Mrs. Wycklendt brought in a painting that had many colors of fall. The children noticed all the different colors and also learned a few facts about the painting... it was older than Mrs. Flynn:)
We learned a big word... translucent... it means not completely clear or transparent, but clear enough to allow light to pass through.
The children painted leaf images with watercolors that gave the appearance of translucency. they turned out beautiful!
So pretty!
