Ewwww... GROSS!

Last week two students from middle school snuck into our Discovery Lab while we were having our rest time. They went into our housekeeping center and took a swab and rubbed it around on a few pieces of pretend food. Next, they rubbed the swab into the bottom of a Petri dish.

Well, today they brought the Petri dish to our room to show us what happened. Ewwwww, gross!! The bacteria from our toys grew! We think this may help us remember that we should NOT put toys in our mouths!! Yuck!!

We thought the girls looked like REAL sicentists!
