100th Day Celebration!!

Preparations for the 100th day
of school began a few days earlier.
We prepared several STEM bags to be used for building things using 100 pieces and a touch of creativity; pattern blocks, straws, pipe cleaners, popsicle sticks, connecting cubes, and Legos.
As we were preparing the bags, we learned that it was so much easier and quicker to just makes ten piles of 10 to reach 100.
The big day finally arrived and we enjoyed
a 100 day Olympics in Reilly Hall.

Checking off each exercise once it was completed!
The best part... 100 seconds of quiet resting:)
We were pooped out after doing 100 exercises:)
Next, we engaged in 100 day centers in both
rooms with a couple mommy helpers.
Counting 100 buttons using a grid.
Painting 100 day pictures.
Making a 100 day crown.
Flipping a coin and graphing heads vs. tails 100 times.
Making 100 paint dots.
Building a structure using 100 cups.
Okay, so the picture below is actually 200 cups:)
In between activities we found the time to
share our 100 collections.
Please see separate post for all the pictures.
On to the 101st day and beyond!!
