Shell Inquiry...

We enjoyed exploring seashells using many of our senses... mostly our sense of sight and touch. We used adjectives and made a nice list of words describing all the different shells.

Next, we each chose one special shell to examine more closely. Then we sketched our shell as if we were scientists and observed every line, bump, and different shades of color.

We chose one fact about our special seashell and wrote about it in our ocean journal.
