The Little Red Hen

We spent a great week comparing and contrasting many versions of The Little Red Hen. The children enjoyed retelling their own versions in our new puppet theater, and also wrote their own stories.

Finally, it was time for us to try our hand at authentically reenacting the story, so I asked: "Who will help me plant these seeds?"

This time the response was a resounding "WE WILL!"

Who will help me ground this corn into flour? "We will!"

We proceeded to add milk and eggs to the cornmeal and 15 minutes later, we had delicious, crumbly muffins.

 Now, let's move onto the feast!!
