Democracy in Action
Today, the students at St. Robert School had the opportunity to get a glimpse of how the democratic process in our country works. Each grade level was assigned electoral votes; 3 students = 1 electoral vote. 4K earned 7 electoral votes.
All classes went up to the media center to vote for the real candidates running in our presidential election. We had to wait in line for our turn to vote.
Each student signed-in when it was their turn.
Next, we proceeded to the voting station to vote on an iPad.
The Journal Sentinel was here taking pictures, as well as WTMJ. They even stopped in our room to see our voting booth:) It was a very exciting day!
Hillary Clinton was the winner at our school! I wonder who will win the real election?!
