Thanksgiving SMASH Art

The children were captivated as a classmate taught us how to create SMASH art. We decided that since it was almost Thanksgiving, and autumn would soon be coming to a close, using fall colors would be fun! 

We learned the technique of folding the paper in half, spilling the paint onto one side of the paper and... here's the best part... SMASHing it shut and rubbing it with our fingers. 

When the paper is opened a symmetrical design is revealed.
