This week we focused on another fun story by Ezra Jack Keats...
We concentrated on the SETTING of the story.
The children learned that the setting is where the story takes place.
For the remainder of the week the children worked collaboratively on a snowy day mural cutting houses, apartment buildings, trees, and snow people all out of scrap paper.
The culminating event was preparing some
special puffy snow to add to the mural.
Ask your child how we made the puffy paint.
And... NO, it wasn't whipped cream:)
Sadly, not all our little friends got to participate due to illness.
Hopefully, they will enjoy seeing the
mural hanging in the hallway!!
