Snowflakes Galore

Although the snow has not been falling outside,
the prekindergarten children have been surrounded by
snow inside the classroom in many different forms.
Snowflake designers have been busy at the tinker tray station!
Building on a mirror-surface, gives things
such a different perspective.
Snowflake snippers have been busy at the
snowflake cutting station!
We read the story, Snip, Snip, Snow and
shortly after, our room looked like a snowstorm hit.
When we were finished, the human snowplows showed up
and not a spec of snow remained:)
 Check-out those intent little faces.
Snowflake dippers were busy at the art/science station!
We decided white snowflakes were too ordinary!
We enjoyed exploring the possibilities of absorption.
Snowflake mathematicians were busy stretching
rubber bands on the geo-boards!
Snowflake engineers and artists creating 3-D structures!
Snowflake imagineers creating silly hats:)
and other interesting things....
Loose parts provide hours of open-ended
fun and creative possibilities:)
