The prekindergarten children will be donating an
original piece of art to the Emerald Auction.
We studied the artist, Joan Miro'.
He was a renowned Spanish surrealist
and we looked at a lot of his art
and thought it was something we could try.
We loved all the bright colors he used in his paintings.
Here is one of his paintings.
First, we drew a giant doodle on our paper.
Next, each child got one square of the giant paper and
painted as desired in each "quadrant" of their square.
We hope you love the finished piece as much as we do.
We noticed that Miro' signed all of his paintings, so we did that too... on the back.
We even took a picture of each of us holding our
own square, so whoever buys this painting will
know who each individual artist is:)
We are very proud to see our work in a real frame.
This item is priceless!
