Our imagination unit is unfolding into lots of creative play.
The settings in many of our stories have
taken place in the woods or forests, so...
What should we turn the Pretend Lab into?!?!
Yup, you guessed it... A FOREST!!
First step was to brainstorm a list of
things that could be found in a forest:
Bears, trees, bushes, dirt, moss, squirrels, owls, etc...
Then, these little people got right to work.
Drawing outlines.
Cutting.
Gluing.
But BEST of all... collaboration and team work!!
Time to add a little texture to the tree trunks.
Our back-drop is giving us a forestry feel, now what?
Let's slide in a few extra trees.
We needed to change our kindness tree
into a spring tree by adding some fresh green leaves.
So, here is what we created so far!
What can we DO in the forest??
Sadly, for now we must 'use our imaginations' and hopefully when school resumes we can see what our forest turns into.
