Noah's Ark Project

We have enjoyed learning about the story of Noah. We read many different versions of the story and learned it well. Noah listened to God without question. God told him to build an ark to prepare for a flood and Noah did so even though everyone laughed at him. The children are working hard trying to be more like Noah:)

A big box showed up in our room one day and the children thought it was the perfect size to use to make our own ark. So we carved out a few windows. Spread on a layer of paint. 

Voila'! 

Our very own ark!!

We enjoyed pretending to be Noah as we sailed on our own homemade ark.

We ended this unit working in collaborative groups of 3 to illustrate and retell the beginning, middle, and ending of the story. Following is a link to our YouTube playlist. (One group was missing a friend, so we will record after break!)
