What a magical day we had under the sea!
Our rooms were transformed into an ocean seaside with a little help from our imaginations. We had an ocean with white-capped waves,
sea creatures in the sea,
fishing in a tide pool,
a boat launch,
and of course, tons of seashells and sand.
Building sand castles was so much fun!
There was even a midnight zone where we could swim around with flashlights to be just like the fish that live in the deep depths of the ocean.
We also played with moon sand and decorated it with sea glass and gems. The sand felt amazing!!
There were several shark sightings, but our trusty lifeguard (ME) kept the little ones safe. I think this is the only place where a shark sighting would elicit giggles:) The sharks were so cute, too!!
No beach party would be complete without a few crafts, so we painted sea creatures, seashells, and rocks.
After all that fun, sunbathing on the beach felt so good!
Playing in the sun all morning sure made us thirsty and hungry. Luckily there was a beach shack restaurant serving slushies and a fun fishing pole snack. Flower leis and sunglasses could also be purchased.
Life in Pre-K is the BEST!!!
