Easter, Engineering, & Mathematics!

The focus this week has been on keeping the HOLY in Holy Week, yet we have still managed to weave in a few fun springtime Easter activities in the form of STEAM challenges.

 We discovered that bigger blobs of playdough and not pushing down on the eggs so hard actually worked the best at making the eggs stick together.

This next challenge was a lot tougher than it looked!

 Oh noooooo... down it tumbled...AGAIN!!

These challenges kept a few groups of children busy for more than 45 minutes. They persevered until they figured out that working together actually accomplished the goal much more efficiently.
