We had time for one quick valentine experiment today.
We filled a cup with water and gathered a few candy hearts.
Next, we closed our eyes so we could concentrate and made our predictions on whether or not we thought the candy hearts would float or sink.
We recorded our predictions.
Now it was time to test our hypotheses.

WooHoooooo!
Later in the day, we noticed that as the heart dissolved in the water, it floated back to the top! Hmmmmm... something new to wonder about:)
