Today everyone wore their favorite sports team apparel and this put us in a cheering mood.
So, we decided to create pennants to bring to the
BIG volleyball game tomorrow.
You may notice the sight word GO on your child's pennant!
Most of the kids plan on cheering for the teachers.
There are a few little people, however, that will be
rooting on the 8th grade class! LOL!
This afternoon we listened to a speaker who came all the way from Africa to talk to us about how we can help feed hungry children plagued by drought in Burkina Faso, Africa.
Your child is invited to help by purchasing a tube of M&M's for $2. Between now and Ash Wednesday, fill the tube with quarters to donate to this project. The tube will hold $14 worth.

The students have also been instructed to EARN the
quarters and not just be given the quarters:)
