Polls are OPEN!

This week the prekindergaten children learned a bit about how the democratic process works.

First step was filling out a voter's registration card!

Campaign headquarters was quite busy all week. New candidates were popping up each day!

There's no better moment in time for our youngest citizens to begin building language and understanding around voting. The children had the opportunity to vote on a different ballot each day; favorite pets, food, insects, color, etc.

Going into the private polling booths was so fun! No peeking!! Voting is a private choice.

Once the ballot was completed with signature and ONE choice, it was placed in the sealed ballot box.

Receiving an 'I VOTED' sticker is a proud moment!!

At the end of each day, we gathered our data and interpreted the results.

Life is good in 4K in the United States of America! 🇺🇸
