Over the past few weeks the children have been immersed
in learning about some basic story elements like the CHARACTERS and SETTING in a story.
They are becoming masters at identifying
the main character in a story
which we often refer to as the STAR character.
They have drawn pictures of a variety of characters from many of our stories, as well as some of the settings.
We read several Jan Brett stories... we LOVE her illustrations and are able to identify her books by the style of her illustrations.

stories you read to your child at home.
