Last week of school + a glorious day = BEACH DAY!
We couldn't let this pretty day go by
without doing something nature related.
So we packed our field trip bag and headed
down the road to the beach!
We made it!!
So many shades of blue from the sky down to the water!
The children had a ball digging, burying feet, and
scooping the sand and some had fun
tossing the sand into the water.
Is it a mermaid?
The sun made the sand feel so warm and cozy!!
The children found many sticks on the beach,
so it was fun to try to build structures with them
and just poke them into the sand.

If you look hard, sometimes you even find
your sister on the beach:)

The air and sand felt so warm,
but the water was very chilly!
Brrrrrr!
The best part of going to the beach
is spending time with friends!!
Time to get shoes back on!!
